The ideal time for a maternity photoshoot is between 28–34 weeks, when your bump is beautifully round and you’re still feeling comfortable. I recommend booking your Cheshire maternity photoshoot in advance to secure your preferred date.

Absolutely. Your maternity photoshoot is about celebrating your growing family, so partners and children are very welcome to be included. I always encourage siblings to join in for some natural, meaningful images, as well as time for beautiful solo portraits of you. Sessions are relaxed and child-led to ensure everyone feels comfortable and enjoys the experience.

You don’t need to bring much at all. I recommend:
Nude or light-coloured underwear and bra
Your favourite jeans (non-maternity style - we’ll keep the top button undone!)
Any meaningful items you’d love included, such as scan photos, baby shoes or a special keepsake
Your outfit. Soft, neutral tones photograph best and help keep the focus on you and your bump. Flowing dresses, fitted tops and simple layers work beautifully.
If your session includes children, it can be helpful to bring snacks, drinks and a comfort item for them too. I’ll guide you fully before your maternity photoshoot so you feel confident and prepared.
